Guest Service Gold Student Workshop Coming

OHLA recently learned that the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has recommended AHLEI’s Guest Service Gold for inclusion on the Industry-Recognized Credential List. Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, the credential will be worth 1 point in the Business, Hospitality and Tourism career field. Thank you to all our members who submitted letters of support for the credential and completed the industry feedback survey. OHLA is currently gauging interest and availability for students to participate in a one-day workshop in the Fall to complete the training and earn the credential.
